I was at my aunt's house when my cousin turned on the tv and started watching aaliyah's memorial and funeral on tv. My cousin just burst into tears and was upset all day. At the time I was too young to understand who Aaliyah was and what my cousin was going through. Now that I'm older I realize that Aaliyah was an angel and was created to suceed and thrive in many things and she was doing just that before she died. She didn't deserve to die...no one on that plane deserved to die especially at that time or in that horrible way. I wonder why god decided to take her away from us and it makes me think that anyone could die at anytime and we would never know god's purpose for taking them. All we could do now is accept the fact that she is gone and just make sure she is never forotten.
