Abbie "Cute" Bearry Tribute

Abbie Ellen Bearry, 94, Stillwater died Friday, May 18, 2007, in Stillwater. Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in Strode Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Eslinger officiating. Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery. Strode Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

She was born Aug. 19, 1912, in Stillwater, to George Anderson “Bob” Smith and Abbie (Hadley) Smith. She married George David Bearry May 9, 1930, in Stillwater.  He died June 20, 1987.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Davie Bearry; one grandson, Robert O’Neil and one infant great grandson, Tanner Brooks.

She is survived by three sons, John Bearry and his wife, Grace, of Stillwater, Kenneth Bearry of Perkins and Douglas Bearry of Perkins; two daughters, Sue Tepe and Vina O’Neil, both of Stillwater, 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
