A tribute to love...

a tribute to love

Perhaps there was a reason why we named her Holy
Perhaps there was a reason why she had to die… to remind us of the true meaning of love

I am humbled when I think of the love I experienced over the past couple of weeks
The only words suitable to describe it are “ a Godly kind of love”
I am grateful that I was even able to experience it - despite all the pain and confusion
Perhaps there is indeed a reason for everything

I look at the world as it is today and I ask myself, or more specifically, I ask God in my conversations with him “Lord, what is the world coming to”
There is so much pain, suffering, hardship, hatred and death everywhere
And I ask God “Could this really be the beginning of the end”

But then I remember that the end is inevitable. It could come today, next week, who knows when
I realise then that we spend too much time worrying so much about the worldly things that we forget about “the Godly things”

So allow me to share my experience with you – allow me to share with you the love that I only came to learn through the passing of “a Holy child”

The world is what we people want it to be. It is shaped by all the acts that we humans perform both consciously and subconsciously
I urge you all to take the lead in changing our world as it stands today.
Be kind to one another, stranger and all. Make an effort – a conscious effort that is, to be kind to one another
For without kindness, there can be no love
That I believe, is the first step toward healing the world
That I know, is the first step toward my healing
