that this happened to this precious child. I remember hearing about this when it happened and I was horrified! I have a 4 year old and can imagine how I'd feel if he was injured in this way and then died. I'm so very sorry from the depths of my heart for your pain and loss. I wish you comfort and strength to make it through the difficult times ahead. God bless your beautiful angel and all of you. Lots of love to you from my family to yours.

I heard about this when it happened. I did not learn of her passing until today. I am heart broken for this family. I have an 8 yr. old daughter myself and can only imagine. I will keep your family in my prayers. Keep your faith.

Dear Abigail,

I read your story on the internet. You are an exceptional child to have gone through what you did and then to tell your parents to 'make sure this didn't happen to another child.' Such wisdom coming from such a little soul, and a beautiful soul at that.....Rest in peace, Angel.

Dearest Abigail,

Your story broke my heart...I cannot even imagine the anquish you must have endured - Heaven takes away all memories of pain here on earth...so I know you are beaming with joy and watching your family from God's arms. I will never forget you...and God Bless your parents for the incredible legislation regarding pool safety. Because of you - there is no telling how many children's lives will be saved due to this new law. You are a hero and a warrior...I applaud your life and your bravery. I know you are with Jesus - and life eternal is yours sweetie pie. Stay close to your Mommy and Daddy - because they need to feel you still. May your Angel wings bring you to them often.
