Tragic Loss

Adam Charles Kirkpatrick of New Smyrna Beach, formerly of Palm Beach, died Saturday, June 7, 2008, at his home from a drug overdose. He was 24.

He was born in Jacksonville Oct. 31, 1983 and was raised in Palm Beach and Port St. Lucie. He graduated from Port St. Lucie High School in 2001.

Adam loved his mother more than any son I ever knew. He was just scared that she would never accept who he was. I think he was wrong. I think his mother loved him as much as he loved her. He was just a great guy who should still be walking with us. Well maybe not me but with the rest of you. I cry for him often. The guilt will never leaveme.

One of the greatest people I ever knew. He always made my life feel important. For that I will never forget him. He should not be gone. He deserved so much more. I will never forget him. I miss him so much.
