Aida Herrera Tribute

Aida Herrera was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico and died in New York City at the age of 94.  She is survived by her sister, Carmen, her nephew, Wilfredo, her two nieces, Angie and Annie, her great nephew William and great niece, Amy.

My family and I knew Aida for many years.  I met Aida  and her family when I was just a little girl.  Our friendship goes back over 50 years. Her Mom babysat for both my brother and me for a while.  I grew up and went to school with her two nieces and nephew. She was a hard working and caring person.

Aida will be missed by her family, friends and all those whose lives she touched.  We thank God for giving us the opportunity of knowing such a kind and gentle person.

May she rest in peace with our heavenly father forever...Amen.
