Air France flight 447 Tribute

Rest in peace to the 228 passengers onboard and to Air France flight 447. We love you Air France flight 447 and we will keep you safe in our heart, always keep you safe in our heart at all costs no matter what happens. Dear flight attendants of Air France, I'm sorry for your loss of flight 447. This is a memorial memory for Air France flight 447, all passengers onboard and crew members of that flight. So sad, extremely sad. R.I.P.

I was in France. I was maybe 19 or 20 years old. I told my mother I would go to Brazil with Jean-Claude who was leaving soon to live there.. It was more than 30 years ago. He was such a gentle person, a gentleman in his own way. I don't know why, I was Googling his name 2 months ago, in the middle of the night, and when I read with horror the news, I couldn't believe it. I sent the rest of the night remembering him, the good time we shared, with him and my older brother...Sad. So sad..... http://static.respectance.com/m1/memories/92nokn3bmfe7ml_s.png

As a fellow international traveler, I have followed this tragedy with shock and horror. I can only hope that you are resting peacefully now and that your families are slowly recovering from their loss.

One can only hope that your deaths are somehow avenged - in the form of holding the correct people accountable and ensuring that your fate helps others escape such disaster.
This will only come by asking the right questions, a few of which include 1) Why rescue planes were not dispatched the moment that messages describing a catastrophic loss of cabin pressure/electrical system failure were received? Were the decision-makers under the impression that such problems at 35,000 ft over 20,000 ft of ocean signaled anything but a crash?
Rescue orders were not given until hours after the flight was supposed to land.
2) The Pitot type-AA tubes which were known to be faulty for years. Thales, Airbus and AF need to provide answers.
3) Protocol for creating flight paths which lead into known dangerous storm areas (fuel optimization vs. passenger safety). Protocol for changing flight paths when severe storms are expected. Four other flights flew a similar route that evening; all avoided the tropical storm convergence zone and all landed safely.

I feel a tremendous sense of loss for you 228. While I never knew you, I am saddened and angered by your passing. This should never have happened. You should still be alive. I cry with your families.

Perhaps I am from so fare of yours, in Montevideo, Uruguay and I believe all our people will have our feelings and prayers for ever.
