About

SO YOUNG

Beyond his literary success, everyone who knew Andrew seems to convey that he was, above all, a conscientious man who was always thinking of others. Friends and family say that he always was very concerned with the well-boing of those around him, sometimes even to a fault, and as a result, he was always thought of highly by everyone.

As a testament to the respect for this young man, many people who knew him were flying in from around the United States and even overseas to be with his family and to attend the memorial service next week. The British Broadcasting Company (BBC) even made an announcement on its world-wide newscast that Andrew had passed away, to mourn the loss of the prominent author.

For his immediate family, it was not the loss of Andrew, the world-wide author that hurt them but the passing of the young man behind the novels.

I can't believe what I just learned. What a terrible loss for his family. My sincerest condolences to his immediate family. I knew him only from his work but he was a great writer and I am sure a better family man. After reading his 3rd novel, I was hooked and was so looking forward to his next great novel A tragic loss for all of us, his fans, his extended family. Gid Bless You Andrew. May you have eternal peace. You will be greatly missed

Annie Britton Nice (Apr 22, 2009)

I would like all of Andrews fans and friends to know that Andrew left many unfinished manuscripts, all who knew him well, knew that this was all that Andrew lived for his writing was his number one priority was to produce the best he could. his days and nights where spent on research. When I retrieved his laptop I thought maybe it had been in a fire, BUT the black mark was his own hand prints in the metal, I cried for he loss of him and for the loss of the work he loved. So his agent and I decided that as I had given birth to Andrew he had given birth to Ryan Kealey and his baby must live on. We have now acquired an excellent Ghost writer to complete the manuscripts and so please God next year we will have Andrew Britton Book 4 on the shelf. In the meantime IF you enjoyed Andrews work Please Please add a review to Barnes & Noble or Amazon website as it all helps to push sales and keep his name alive and in the public eye for all future books. I know that this is truly the best thing you could do for Andrew and for his memory and to help me keep him alive for all future generations of young writers who need to read his book and Know his story. Many Many thanks to you all and bless you for your prayers and your kind words at the Biggest loss I have ever known in my lifetime, He was MORE than my son, he was my bes friend and I miss him every minute of every day. His talent lives on

TK Apr 06, 2009

Just finished "Invisible." Andrew was obviously a very talented writer, and I am going to the bookstore tonight to obtain "The Assassin." I was very sorry to read that Andrew had passed away at such a young age. His all-too brief time was enough for him to leave a literary legacy.

Sleep well Dear Andrew

Dr. Philip B. and Gloria Stern May 31, 2008

Dear Britton Family,
Today was a very sad day for my wife and me and our condolences and heartfelt sorrow goes out to you all.
The story goes like this: I have read Andrew's two previous books, the American and the Assassin.
I had just finished reading The Invisible and I had already concocted a plot in my mind for the next book, so I went to the Web and Google. What I found was utter shock and denial. Oh My Lord, what a loss! We were both in love with Andrew as a new writer and looked forward to his future books. He was a fine human being and will missed by his family and his fans. We are 78 and 82 and feel as is we have lost a grandson.
Sleep well Andrew.
Gloria and Philip Stern
