Q. Who was Andrew Britton's childhood best friend?
A. When he was very young and we lived in the UK he had 2 best friends Danial Micha and Alex Beaumont. They where all born at the same time and remained friends until about 5 when we moved away. Mostly he hung out with his brother Chris They became each other's closest friend throughout the years and always remained very close even in terms of where they choose to live.

Q. Did Andrew Britton compete with any groups or sports teams?
A. He played Basketball as a teenager and attended The Anfernee Hardaway Basketball camp in Memphis for a week. After that I think he knew he was NOT cut out for basketball and took to playing soccer. He got a trip to Disney with the USA soccer team to train and he loved it. Still has the jersey the medal and the hat & boots plus all the signed autographs from the team. He played soccer on a regular basis with Castle in Raleigh NC.

A. He wanted to serve in the Military and the Police. He did serve 3 years in the US armed forces as an Engineer and served his last year in Korea. He had been thinking of a job in the FBI or Police even while he was writing his novels he talked about attending NC State to study Criminal Justice.

A. Andrew loved to tell a joke or a story. he would go into WAY to much deatil to do so as a result it ofen ruined the impact . Later in life all of this served him well as a writer

A. Andrew was always close to his family. Sister Roxanne and brother Chris and Mom Annie. Chris's girlfriend Erika Lease and Andrew's own girlfriend of 2 years Valarie. Andrew had few close friends outside of family. He was very quiet and reserved. If he took you into his circle then you where his friend for life. He always enjoyed the company of many family friends that he had knew for years back in the village of Camlough County Armagh Ireland among them one he spoke of often and highly was Des Murphy his Mountain climbing friend. and his long time companion and friend his uncle Eugene for whom he had great respect. He enjoyed a drink and the triva nights at The Tavern in Durham where he enjoyed the company of many of the locals, and at Tir Na Nog Irish Pub in downtown Raleigh NC, where Mom works and he would stop by for a few drinks and some dinner and he always liked to have his first new release signing at the pub.

A. Yes Andrew has One brother Christopher and a sister Roxanne. and YES. Andrew and his siblings where very close . Chris's heart is broke and it is very sad to see him without his sidekick Andrew in tow and wee boys and men they had a great friendship always. As a mother nothing made me prouder than to see the joy in the faces of each when they would be out enjoying themselves and the reunion as Andrew returned from Korea and no words can ever express how very hard it was the day I had to hold Chris and tell him Andrew was gone.
Roxanne was with me when I got the news, Roxanne is a very strong young woman, Her and Andrew had a brilliant friendship, he spoiled her, took her shopping and to concerts, and they all quite often held family "Dance" Parties and loved music. They where so Very very proud of his success. she cries and Miss's him a lot BUT she and I have a great understanding that one day we will see him again.
