Annette Gannon Tribute

The holidays this year were really hard for me. Everything about Christmas was my grandmother. Not being able to call or write her was a sureal experience. Ironically after she passed my Mom came across a letter in her things that she wrote to me after me and Rob got together and for some reason she never sent. At Christmas I finally asked for the note and as I read it and tears flowed I realized it was her final note of love to me and it really made me feel better. I will never know why she never sent it but it was very comforting to me when I needed it most. My sweet guardian Angel is comforting me even after she is gone.

As a child I never could pronounce her first name so insteda of Annette I always called her Granamd Net and it sorta stuck through the years. My grandmother was one of the most generous people I have known next ot my own Mother. I cannot count the endless times we spent talking and becoming friends as well as family. She never let me down and stood by me and made me stronger for it. She loved me and that love made such a difference in my life. I miss her more than words can say and I know she is watching over me as my Guardian Angel from above. The tears wil eventually fade but my love for my grandmother will forever live on.
