Ashley Marie Crane Tribute

Such a good soul! I met Ashley by a mutual friend, Chris. She was excited to open a new store in the mall in Connecticut. Our acquaintance was initially business, but then we talked, and listened to spoken word at a local cafe on the day we met. I shared many moments with her because of our mutual friend Chris F. On one sunny Saturday afternoon in late 2006, we ironically were discussing reincarnation. She was telling me of a book she purchased on the topic and we both agreed on the possibilities of such realities. She is a deep thinker. I composed a song when I heard what u have experienced. Chris told me while we were down under, and all i could think of was you dancing barefoot in that empty dance floor to the pulse of the music. You looked so happy and free. The song is happy and sad: sad is how I felt, and happy, and free is how I remember you. I celebrate your life, and thank your for sharing it with me.
