Memories of Benazir Bhutto

In Memoriam

In Memoriam
(On Assassination of Benazir Bhutto)

“We are prepared to risk our lives,
But we are not prepared to surrender
Our great Nation to the militants.”
- Benazir Bhutto (1953-2007)

Hideous serpents hissed and recoiled,
Mesmerized by your homecoming,
Obvious of your mighty presence.
Forked-tongues darting out,
Poised for the final kill.

The bang that butchered over a hundred bodies,
The road that ignited with flesh and blood,
Did little to deter your determination,
Nor shake your spirit,
To build our half-ravaged cities,
And rekindle the hearts of your poor folks.

They stalked you all along,
Like a homeless hunter
Far from the hills,
Breathing in silence,
Camouflaged in crowds
.
Yes, indeed you knew them all-
Those cut-throat thugs with lolling tongues,
Militants within, militants without, Al-Qaida,
Talibans,
Who knows what?

The struggle continues between secular humanists & the so called islamists.
The islamists could not win this in a democratic way & thats why they had to assasinate Benazir. Yes they could finish her physically but Bibi will live in history forever.

Shaheed BB sign of Hope

M. Saleem Jami Mar 03, 2009

Every human being has to leave this world and so Shaheed Mohtarma Benezir Bhutto but her unfortunate death left deep wounds in the hearts, minds and souls of millions and billions miserable and vulnerable people and those assasinated the Shaheed BB think that they have killed just one person but this is not true, they have slaughtered the many by taking one life and they think people dont know, who killed Shaheed BB and her father and brothers but they are mistaken, people know and know very well and people who stood and struggled with the BB and her father are aware about the enemies of Shaheed BB, her father and themselves and one day all the enemies of hopes and ,
Saleem Jami (March 4, 2009)

happiness of people shall receive thier punishment from the hands of those who are weak and empty handed by taking thier own revenge and revenge of Shaheed BB, ZAB, her brothers and those who secrificed thier lives for regaining thier rights from the corrupt and stronger and this was the message from Shaheed BB and her father and those who always guided the people to fight against the brutal elements and forces and one day they will be looser and this is written on the wall and every is waiting for the those moments. BB TERAY KHOON SAY INQILAB AAY GA.

Muhammad M Naim (Jul 18, 2009)

The great Bhutto has added his daughter's blood in his manifesto on 27th December, 2007. The black day of the history of Pakistan, People and Party. She was really a pillar of Pakistan like her father and symbol of strength of Pakistan. She was assassinate alongwith her father and brothers because she was sign of continuity of glorious struggle for democracy and Awami Rule. Bhutto is a thought which couldn t be eliminated. Bhutto will stand live in hearts and brains of Pakistani generations.

She had a dream

ayaz Apr 22, 2008

Benazir Bhutto was the first woman ever to lead a Muslim state. She was prime minister twice. Her dream was to bring genuine democracy and rid Pakistan of ignorance and poverty. She did bring democracy, but gave her life doing so. The return of democracy is a lasting tribute to Benazir. With democracy she had dreamt to empower the poor, and create an educated Pakistan with a powerful middle class.

BB the courageous leader

Waseem Rahim Apr 05, 2008

You will be remembered as the daughter of democracy. I wish people of Pakistan had known you for the type of person you were. Your courage, love for freedom and the fight for the poor will be an inspiration to many. You will live in my heart forever.
