Mama,
We miss you so much. But, I know that you are not in pain and suffering now,
and that's the thought that helps me make it through each day. I'm sure you are walking around heaven, smelling all the flowers and listening to the birds.
And, I know you have Alan right beside you...telling him... "Al, either you're getting taller, or I'm getting shorter!" And he's smiling !
We all miss you two and love you so much!!

Another year has flown by...and we face another birthday without you. We all miss you so much, and will always cherish all the memories we shared . I find comfort in knowing that you and Alan are together, and you two are watching over all of us each day. We love you and Happy Birthday!

Happy birthday, Grandmama, I wish you were here to celebrate it. A lot has happened since you've been gone. I am currently pregnant with a baby girl and she is going to have your initials. I have gone through so much during this pregnancy and I think about how things would be if you were still here with us. It would be great if you were here to see another great-grand child be born, but I will have plenty of stories to tell her. We all love and miss you very much and think about you often.

Mama, we miss you so much. Christmas and Thanksgivings will never be the same again. We all know that you and Alan are taking care of each other. And we know that you two are in a much better place than we are. Todays Alan's birthday, so give him a big hug from all of us. We love you.

My memory of you Grandmama, is when I was about four years old and we used my Easy Bake Oven for the first time. I remember you making spaghetti for dinner that night and we were going to eat by the TV. As I was walking into the living room, I dropped my plate on the floor. I felt so bad about it, but you laughed and said, "Don't worry about it, Brandy will eat it." You made me another plate and we ate while watching TV. For dessert, we started making cookies and cake. I remember you helping me mix everything together and we made a mess! Flour, cookie and cake mix, and water was all over the table. We laughed for hours about that. A lot has changed since you've been gone, but I know what you are experiencing is so much better than anything that could ever happen here.
