Q. What was Bill Joyner's first job? Did he/she like it?
A. I think Daddy's first job was at Rinks. He and my mom were 17 and both worked at Rinks. The building is still there. It is located on Morse Rd. in Columbus OH and is now an "Old Time Pottery". I'm not sure if he liked it or not, but I know he was glad he met our Mom. I have a picture of them sitting on Grandma's couch at age 17. So beautiful!

Q. If Bill Joyner could have any job, what do you think he/she could have done?
Q. What do you think would have been a good/alternative job for Bill Joyner?
Q. What was Bill Joyner's family life like?
Q. Did Bill Joyner have siblings? Were they close?
A. Daddy had an older brother, Donald (Donnie) Vaughn Joyner. Uncle Donnie and Daddy were one year and 362 days apart, born on January 3rd, 1951 and December 31st, 1952. Grandma said when they were young Donnie used to get mad because Daddy would try to kiss him when he left for school! I didn't know Donnie well as a child and didn't see many similarities between the two. As an adult, I am happy to be able to know Donnie better. There are still marked differences between the two, but also many similarities. At times, it breaks my heart to talk to Donnie because he reminds me so much of my Dad. At the same time, I am charmed by the similarity as well. My Grandma and Grandpa raised two fine young men. I love them both.
