Briana Nicole Menendez was a very courageous young lady. Always smiling and just having a good time. Briana blessed people with her presence and a smile that could light up a room. Briana ran track and loved basketball. Briana planned on becoming a United States Marine and be a chef. Briana's dream came thru when she was made an Honorary Marine by the Commandant of the Marine Corps. Briana was on honor roll for majority of her school years and was a model student. Briana was a huge inspiration to all and her she was A.K.A The Eagle.  Briana past away due to her cancer coming back for a 3rd time.

I went to school with the father of this beautiful child. He was a really nice classmate, and always friendly to everyone in our classes. I am just hearing of this sad news. I'm really so sorry to hear about him losing this beautiful child. I send warmest blessings to him and to his family so that God may heal the sorrows in their heart...
Reall sorry for such a big loss :(

Mr. & Mrs. Menendez, I just heard the news when I was rereading my brochure from the Wish With Wings Benefit Luncheon this year. We met your family when our daughter Amanda was also in the bone marrow unit. I remember them bringing Briana in and how sweet she was, although due to the circumstances, our contact was limited. I bawled my eyes out last night and am so glad I found your page to wish you our most sincere condolences.
