A. Skip came from a large and raucous Irish--Scottish Family that began in Georgia and spread across the deep South. Never a dull moment! A family of musicians; merchants, roustabouts, scholars...one can find almost any and everything on that family tree.

A. The McRae clan could be a 'marrying' clan so Skip had many full and half-siblings with which he stayed in touch continuously particularly in his later years. As we have pulled out the cards, letters, emails, Skip's correspondence has been astounding in his committment to keep in touch.

A. I don't know if he had one since we are a clan of storytellers and everything is 'grist for the mill' but perhaps some of you have a favorite 'SKip' story you'd like to share?
