My memory from Ashley Bergstrom

Ashley Bergstrom Nov 03, 2009

I have so many memories of my grandma a lot of them come from when i was younger. Going to visit her and stay at her house was the best I would always get so excited to go there. I can remember movies we went and seen together, My Girl, The Jungle Book, The Santa Clause, and Aladdin. I can remember going and parking in a lot that was across from the fair grounds and watch the fireworks and going out to eat at Old Country Buffet with my mom and dad and cousin Andrew. I remember she would always hum and when i would go to bed she would put on these bible story cassettes for me to listen to. I remember me, her, and my cousin Andrew all being obsessed with beanie babies when they were popular and she always would come outside and watch me and my cousins Mike, Jake, and Andrew slid down the hill in her back yard in the winter time and when it would rain we would lift up all the big rocks and look for worms and she wouldn't like that very much. I can remember these shoe trees she had in her basement and going down there and trying on all the high heeled ones. I remember the mornings she would make pancakes and would make them in the shape of mickey mouse and the only kinds of cereal she would always have was frosted mini wheat or blueberry morning. There are so many more that i can remember and i will cherish them always and I loved every moment i spent with her, my grandpa too. I will miss her ever so much and i will always love her and remember her the way that she was, but also the one thing I will always cherish and remember and always have, is the bond of being her one and only granddaughter. I love you grandma and I will miss you very very much and i will be with you again some day but until then I will always have our memories. Love your only granddaughter Ashley xoxo

Carol an I became friends later in life. We had a lot of fun together shopping , having lunch , fun times. She liked me to do her hair an would say " I look so pretty" She liked people and animals. A kind and good person. She bought me a lovely white coat just cause I wanted one, what a suprise! I still wear it and love it. Thank you Carol! She was a teaser an loved to tease my hubby Ron. She will be missed. Your friend Bonne. PS: I will have a drink four you.

Bill Bergstrom Oct 30, 2009

Every morning while i was getting ready for work, she would redo my hair, tell me my outfit was kinda good. and then she would say," im keeping the jewelry" that i was going to wear to work. while she was helping me get ready for work. she would give me a kiss on my way out the door to work, and tell me she loved me. an d then when i got home after work, she would yell at me for being gone to long. But i love our days together!
