God Sent A Special Angel

God sent a special angel, from heaven up above,
He was sent to guard his children, with sweet and
tender love.
His smile was the sun, to brighten each and every day,
His gentle caressing arms, that helped guide us
along the way.
His heart filled with happiness, meekness, peace and joy,
He loved his children and grandchildren, four girls and four boys.
He watched us grow from infants to a young woman
and young men,
To hear his chuckling laugh, we’ll always remember
again and again.
Dad your love we’ll always cherish that no one can
take away,
We will be reunited, when the Lord call us on that
special day
You gave us something special and that was a father’s love,
Yes God sent a special angel, from heaven up above.
