I have a recorded video of an Opry show that Charlie did in 1992. He sang Pick Me Up On Your Way Down. Charlie was a true country music singer. I will miss seeing and hearing him perform. May God richly bless his soul and family.

I loved listening to Charlie . a great singer who always seemed to be so comfortable on stage. Loved when he spoke of his family.. I'm from a family of 12 children and i could relate about a lot of things he would say about his children . He will be sadly missed by all of us country fans. Charlie was a friend of mine for over 30 years. He could hit a golf ball as well as most professional golfers. He will be missed by a lot of folks - knowing him was one of my greatest treasures.

One of the last true Honky-Tonk singers. Thank you for the music you left us and for the memories. One of my first records as a teenager was Charlie Walkers I Don't Mind Going Under and I WORE that record out. RIP Charlie, you won't be forgotten.

Charlie will never be forgotten as we continue to listen to his wonderful tunes. I grew up listening to him. He is a great part of my life, and it is sad to see him go.
