Cherie Morton Tribute

My name is Elizabeth, I am a Marine Corps Veteran, and had the pleasure to honor Cherie today at the first ever Idaho Women Veterans Conference. The name tag that I wore today, also bore her name, and picture. We honored all women Veterans who have lost their lives in the service of their country. I feel proud and honored that she served others before self, and her dedication to our country will not be forgotten. I may not have ever known her, but we share a common bond for serving our country, and she paid the ultimate price so that I, and others can enjoy the ultimate freedoms those sacrifices allow us. Thank you.
