I attended Bretwood Academy military school in west Los Angeles in the early 70's. I was an "officer" and Devi was in my C company for 1 year. I also worked graveyard at the Jiffy Fuel (Phillips 66 self serve) behind the Kirkeby building in Westwood Village the summers of '70 & '71. Devi was a very sweet kid - lost and alone. He was always respectful to me in school, but seemed to always be in trouble with other "officers," teachers and the adminstration. Devi used to wander the streets of Westwood Village (near UCLA) with no one caring for him and no place to go. He used to come in and visit me at the gas station late at night - just to have a warm place to hang out and a friendly person to talk to. He was a slender frail lilttle guy and I always felt sorry for him and was always nice to him. Back in those days I didn't know anything about Hollywood & his father. Although Marlon Brando was a great actor, he was a rotten father. I was sent to another school I never saw Devi again. I followed with some interest Devi's downfall. I hope he is resting in peace and maybe he knew Jesus. Something inside of me tells me Jesus saved this troubled guy. God bless.
CHRISTIAN (DEVI) MAY YOU REST IN PEACE. I NEVER MET HIM BUT FELT I KNEW HIM WELL. I WOULD SOMEDAY REALLY LIKE TO MEET HIS MOTHER ANNA, MAYBE I COULD GET TO KNOW A PART OF CHRISTIAN THROUGH HER!

It breaks my heart to know that this handsome, kind and talented man died so destitute. Christian fought this harsh world as long as he could. May he rest now with the Stars. A bientot.
Pretty many of our hearts broke. God took this kind unselfish man to a well deserved rest. He deserved better than he got. Rest in peace sweetheart and you will always be remembered as you deserve to be. Much love, hon

Thank you for setting this up and for the people who pay their respects. This is really beautiful and a lovely tribute to Christian Brando. I have a friend who met Christian many years ago, who agrees with all the lovely tributes. Thank you.
Thank you Jamie. This has been set up for people to show their respects for Christian Brando. It's nice that people who met him remember his good qualities despite the troubles he had and not just dwell on anything bad. He's in a peaceful place now with his dad, sister and aunt Jocelyn.
Thank you Jamie. This is a place where a very special man could be remembered with the love and respect he deserved. He meant well and he may have very well taken the blame for something he did not do, all for the benefit of the sister and unborn nephew he so loved. He tried to help so many people and to have some jerks make a fool of him today, he deserved so much better. God rest his soul. We all loved him a lot, even though we never met him and I don't think he realized how many people loved him.
