• Jordanne Murray, 18, Peterson's former longtime sweetheart, who graduated from Crandon High School in 2006.

• Katrina McCorkle, an 18-year-old senior at Crandon High.

• Leanna Thomas, also an 18-year-old senior at Crandon.

• Bradley Schultz, 20, a 2005 graduate of Crandon and a student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee majoring in criminal justice.

• Aaron Smith, called "Chunk" by his friends, also a 2005 graduate of Crandon. His age was not available.

• Lindsey Stahl, 14, a freshman at Crandon.

Charlie Nietzel, 19, of the neighboring town of Pickerel was wounded. He was in critical condition late Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Praise Chapel Community Church Pastor Bill Farr was called by the Forest County Sheriff's Department at 6:30 a.m. Sunday and asked to open the church for victims' families and other members of the community. About 200 people showed up during the day. He said it took so long for authorities to release the names because state investigators were handling the case.

My Memory

Brittany-- 2005 graduate Oct 09, 2008

I graduated with Bradley, Chunk, Tyler, and Charlie. I still remember that day like it were yesterday. I got the phone call from another friend shortly after it had happened. I fell to my knees and I was in shock. Bradely had that smile that made you just love him and the bounce in his step. I remeber him talking about all the hot chicks him and his brother picked up, cracked me up everytime. Chunk had a laugh like no other, a big teddy bear. I never imagined Tyler causing the pain he caused that day. I'm thankfull that Charlie survived, I wish they all did. I miss them so much it still hurts knowing that they are gone and aren't coming back. My heart goes out to all the families that have lost their son or daughter. I knew Jordanne through Tyler she was a great person and had a beautiful smile. I met Lianna through some of my other friends, I didn't know Katrina or Lindsey very well. I miss my friends and I think about that day they were taken away from us quite often.
