My memories of Ms. Charrise were at the age of 12/13 years old. This is when I first saw Ms. Charrise in the movie "Singing in the Rain". This is my all time favorite although I love all old black/white and old color movies I raised my four children on these movies and to this day they still love to see them. I just found out just this moment after watching "Singing in the Rain", that it was a tribute to the late "Cyd Charrise". I immediately got on the internet to see if it was true, to my dismay it was. I will always Cherish the memories of watching the old movies of the beautiful times back then. Just wish I could have been born sooner, to hav lived in the moment. I am one of the few that have named a daughter after Ms. Charrise, (Nikolette Cherise-Niko for short). I think this is the greatest tribute I could have given my favorite beautiful dancer. I will forever be grateful to Ms. Charrise and her family to have given us the opportunity to watch, admire, and forever love Ms. Cyd Charrise on the big screen. My Heart and Soul sympathy go out to Mr. Martin and there sons at this beautiful time that she is watching, waiting and Dancing for the Lord in Heaven with wings, when we will all be able to see her gracefully dance for all again.
May the Lord Bless you at this time in sadness and need for the warmth of her laughter. Remember she will always be in your hearts and in our eyes to see. God Bless you and keep you in his hands of Mercy. Thank You Love always, Juanita in Coachella, CA
