I was born in the early 30's and my uncle was a movie projectionist, so I was able to see all of the movies, especially the musicals of the 40's. Cyd Charisse was one of my most favorite people and I particuarly remember her in "Silk Stockings." I also remember her husband Tony Martin well. She danced and he sang, what a beautiful couple! I felt absolutely sick when I heard of her death. She and her husband were also just very good people. What a loss!
