Daniel Gamble Tribute

Pte Daniel Gamble, 22, from Uckfield, East Sussex was killed by a suicide bomber on a routine patrol in Helmand province, along with two comrades.

Pte Gamble, of the 2nd Battalion, the Parachute Regiment died alongside Ptes David Murray from Dumfries and Nathan Cuthbertson, from Sunderland, both 19.

His parents, Paul and Georgina Gamble, said their son died doing a job he was proud of.

"He was special to his family and friends - a true hero in every sense, he will be missed by so many people more than he would ever know," they said.
