The most painful of this is the possibility that she did not take her own life, but may have been killed because of who solictied her business. When are we going to unshame ourselves from sex enough that is OK for a politicain to seek pleasure outside of his (or her!) marriage? Then the madams can reclaim their rightful place as priestesses of pleasure, escorting worshipers into the presence of the Goddess (or God!)
