Memories

Friend lost, found and lost again.

Dan Faucz Nov 03, 2009

Debbie was more than a friend to me, she was part of my family…
An old Navy friend lost for years only to be found again.
Even though 17 years had passed since we last spoke, it was like that time was just a blink in time, and she worked her special magic, in her special way.
The way only she could, to steal my head and heart, all without even trying.

She became part of my heart and family, and she introduced me to hers, her children were never far from her mind or heart, even though she could not be with them.
She told me how much they meant to her often, and at times though tears, and how much she wanted to be there for them.
My own daughters loved her as a friend as much as I loved her and made her welcome with us.

When she wanted to go and chase her dream, I could not stand in her way, but was there for her whenever and however I could.
Her music was her dream and her way to bring a better life not just for her but for her sons, daughter and the memory of her sister.

I cannot put the depth of my profound loss into words, other than to say that I will miss her smile, her magic and her music.

Deb, I will see you in my dreams, with red wine and roses, young and beautiful forever….

…Love Dan…

PS: To Josh, Alec, Joey and Vita, your Mom loved you more than anything in this world and will be there in her special way with you always… I know, she told me to tell you she loves you all, always and forever…

My memory

Debbie and I would write and share songs back and forth via the internet. She was one of my inspirations to keep writing music. She would encourage me. You were always there to help me tell the story better.

I'll miss you!

I miss you so much. We have shared 17 years of divorces and kids...you are my very first sister I have ever had. I will miss you and your mom so very much. I remember when we first sang Karaoke all those years ago.

I miss us both talking to each other and reminding each other to "keep it real". You have earned your peace dear friend and until we meet again.

Dearest friends and family of our Debbie, I would like to share with you our secret password it was KINDA, when ever we communicated on you tube, somewhere in the text would appear the word Kinda, for example I kinda love your songs etc
last Saturday during the memorial service you held in LA, several friends on You TUBE were makin a little miracle happen, Debbie you had a desire to reach 1,000 subscribers on your channel, in just a few hours the good people on you tube came together, and shared your videos and you smashed through that target figure, and you are still climbing strong.
