Got to Den's around 11am. April came right behind within minutes and Barb within 45 minutes or so.

When I got there Den was laying on the couch favoring his left leg. He looked tired and the same as yesterday. He said he put the patch on last night but it has only helped the pain in his head but not his left side of his body.
When April got there she reminded him that he can also take morphine if the patch isn't helping and he said he knew.
I also reminded him how yesterday he told Diane, "I'm not going to let myself suffer", to please not hold out and encouraged him to take some morphine to try and take the edge off (if that's even possible). But I didn't see him do it.

When Barb got there, April and I were talking quietly in the kitchen regarding Den. We all chatted a bit then Barb and I walked to the living room. I stood in the doorway and she went to Den and said hello and a few words. I could hardly hear Den as he is very very soft spoken now.
She then walked in a fast pace out of the room and down the basement sobbing. It's very hard to see Den as he is and to accept what's happening to him.
To us, Den is the Patriarch of our family. This just crushes all of us!

Shortly after Barb left he asked April for some ativan and if she'd make some scrambled eggs and an english muffin that she had brought.
He takes the ativan before he eats so it helps him not to get sick from eating. It seems to be working cause he ate all of it.

After that we sat around talking and watching a little TV. We all know Den can be outspoken about topics on TV that are conveyed to be true but aren't. So April and I listened to him express his feelings about that lol

Then he was looking through the Sears wish list book and was saying what toys he wants to buy the grand kids and mentioned chi-Mart and online shopping... I said what is chi-mart? April started laughing as Den explained lol. Apparently she's heard this before lol
Has to do with China and Walmart lol

He was back and forth from laying down to sitting up. You can see he's clearly uncomfortable. He didn't want the cat sitting on the couch cause it hurts him when it climbs on him.
He was getting tired and was saying he wanted to nap. He asked April to go to the store before she left for home and she did.

He got another visitor so I said my so long and will be there in about 7 hours from now as Diane is coming.
I'm getting less and less sleep. I just worry about him so much!

Please keep praying for Den, he needs that!
