About
Tribute to the Queen of Disco
LaDonna Adrian Gaines (December 31, 1948 – May 17, 2012), known by the stage name Donna Summer, but loved as the Queen of Disco, was an American singer/songwriter who gained prominence during the disco era of the 1970s.
She had a mezzo-soprano vocal range, and was a five-time Grammy Award winner. Donna Summer was the first artist to have three consecutive double albums reach number one on the US Billboard chart, and she also charted four number-one singles in the United States within a thirteen-month period.

Shame to Billboard Awards

It disturbed me greatly that BMA did such a shabby job with a "tribute", shame
on the producer of the show. She deserved sooooo much better.
RIP.
My words in honour of Donna

After listening to some of her music today, I forgot how versatile she was. In a way, she was a bit ahead of her time for what she did in the 70's.
Sorry to see her go so soon & get cheated out of her later years !!!!
