A. Dorothy above all loved her gardening,she knew the latin names for many plants,trees etc.she loved crosswords and other games.One of her least loved activities was listening to my stories of the Apoll space missions,when I would tell her about Apollo 12 nearly crashing her eyes would glaze over and she would try not too yawn.

A. We were all very close to mom and told her (almost!) everything.She rarely fought with dad and on the,again,rare occassion it did happen, dad smooth talked his way into her good books again with the help of flowers or a big hug. Mom had a great family life,we often went for drives,had family nights in etc.
