sometimes in life we cant explain
why do we go through so much pain,
one day you could wake up and find
the one you love left you behind
last night you left us for a better place
and for you this life starts a brand new
theres no longing for the past
just what the future holds for us
while u stand at heavens gates
watching us from that beautiful place
be sure we will soon see your face
we will meet you there with love and grace
the memories we have of you
will stay with us in all we do
out hearts are filled with sorrow
