I met Dr. DeBakey my freshman year attending DeBakey High school for Health Professions and the last time I saw him was in November last year. He strived for perfection and I can honestly say i am greatful for that. He will be missed.

A world leader of medicine

Dr. DeBakey will be remembered as being a leader in medicine and a great human. A single man who has saved so many. Surely there is a special place in heaven for him.
