Papakura toddler Dylan Rimoni who died in hospital with "unexplained head injuries" was a pleasant and quiet boy, say his neighbours.
The three-year-old died in Starship Children's Hospital on Friday after his life support system was turned off but police had been investigating for two days the fatal head injuries he had when he was taken to Middlemore Hospital on Tuesday night.
Police were called on Wednesday morning.
He was later transferred to Starship but died yesterday morning from the suspicious head injuries which police described as "unexplained."

You spent 3 years on this earth and would have meant so much to your whanau and had so much life left to live. this world is so cruel boy and i am sorry that u were not protected from the scorns of evil, but you are safe now dwelling in the warmth of heaven,
God must have wept for his fallen angel,
may you rest in his right hand.
