About

My little fighter x x

Ebonie-May was born 16 weeks early, from the minute i found out i was expecting everything started to go wrong, from 4 weeks on i started to bleed and spent the remainding 20 weeks in  hospital, in total i had 20 units of blood and was really poorly. Everyday i was asked to end my pregnacy but my little girl kept kicking away i knew she was a fighter, at 24 weeks gestation my body had had enough , and i was told she had to come now...... i was put to sleep. When i awoke still quite poorly i was told my little girl was fighting, she was on life support and had 30% chance of survival the next few hours were critical, but my little girl kept on fighting. When i was finally well enough to go and see her already a few days old i was s hocked she had no eyes, her ears were not formed, she was transparent but she was perfect my little miricle. Days passed things were going great until boxing day then her lungs collapsed we were told they had given her everything they could and things  did not look good, but to everyones amazement she got better and better, a few weeks down the line 5 weeks old she was put on c.pap and began to breath for herself, "a miricle" they said "a real fighter" then came the best day 6 weeks old and i got my 1st cuddle, yes she was full of wires, and lying on a pillow but she was in her mummies arms a nd i cant tell you how good that felt, things were going great until that next call 22nd jan Ebonie-May had stopped breathing and had to be reventelated, this was bad  there was no movement she was swollen, the blood tests came back Coliform Sepsis, a bug they said antibiotics should help........hours later.......no improvement, the next test came in Ebonie-May was getting worse her x-ray showed the bug had taken her insides, no-one would speak so i asked " my little girl is dying isnt she " the reply was simple "yes" i had her taken off the ventelator and placed in my arms she opened her eyes for the 1st time in 48 hours and looked straight at me and her dad, then she was gone my miricle my angel. life will never be the same my heart will remain broken. thank you to all who take time to read about my angel x x x x x
