A. Eli worked at Lightsey's Restaurant in 2007. While he bussed and cleaned-up, he was best known as one of the few who could shuck oysters fast enough to keep up with the demand.

Q. What did Eli Renfranz dream of doing with his/her life?
A. I don't know. I don't know if anybody did. Eli never told us what he really wanted to do after high school--he probably did not know himself, and he did not want to be forced into doing a dream that someone else had for him.

Q. If Eli Renfranz could have any job, what do you think he/she could have done?
A. Eli was honest and courteous. He had an innate ability to make customers and people in general happy. He was good with money and figures. He did not like how mean the World was becoming, and he would not have liked the crap that adults have to put up with everyday. He loved to play. He could have easily run a skatepark, helped teach skaters. He did not care about being wealthy or powerful.

A. Eli did miss his oldest 2 sisters, whom had moved away from Okeechobee in 2003. He missed his oldest brother John, who left home for college in 2005. Eli loved people and action, so it was a little quiet around the house the last few years. But life really was good.
