Today is your birthday,
I think of you today and remember our time together. Johnny and I miss you and think of you often. We love you and pray that one day we will all be together again. Being with GOD has to be an awesome thing! Love, Johnny and Barbara.

On this day five years ago you left us. I can still see your smile and hear your laughter. I think of you often. When I am cooking or doing laundry and especially when I am enjoying a glass of wine. Johnny is doing okay but he misses you so much. He will always be your little boy. Thank you so much for the love that you showed Johnny and I. One day we will join you in heaven and we will have a glass of wine together. Until then, you and Settimio rest in GOD'S arms. We love you. Barbara and Johnny.

Elisa ( my mother in law, I am married to her son Johnny ) was a very warm and loving woman. She had a great sense of humor so we laughed often. I have many memories of her but one comes to mind more than others. On hot summer afternoons, we would sit on the veranda and listen to music, it was usually Jazz music or a cd that I would play called " The Steel Drums of Barbados." We would open a bottle of wine, pour us both a glass, and then we would sit in the warm sunshine sipping on our wine. She would pat her hand on her knee to the beat of the music, she really enjoyed the music and the wine which always amazed me because she was 82 years old !!
