I was very saddened to hear about your daughter and I am so grateful that you made some headway with the NZ authorities regarding the safety of outdoor pursuits. I had a serious accident in 1994 whitewater rafting where many were injured and there was very little in the way of safety standards back then. My injuries still affect my life today and although I tried, I was unsuccessful to get anyone to listen.
