Emma has a passion for life, and was a big part of the deaf community. She was well known around Christchurch and in various other places too. She was a wonderful person. One cannot do enough justice to her in words alone.

She was written about here. Talking about everything Emma was involved in. She will be missed.

A bright light of hope

I taught Emma English when she was in Year 11 at |Hornby High School. She was always a pleasant, friendly and enthusiastic member of the class. I was utterly shocked and saddened when I heard of her death while looking up NZ news in London. My thoughts are with the entire Agnew family during this difficult time. A bright light blown out too quickly
