When I watch misses Getty, White, Arthur and McClanahan I'm reminded that no matter what race or ethnicity, we are all the same. I'm an African-American woman with Caucasian, Hispanic and Asian friends, male and female, young and old; and the one thing we have in common is that we all loved those Golden Girls. I'm grateful that Betty White is still here bringing laughs to us all, but I sure do miss the other ladies.
I felt like a member of my family left when I heard of Miss Getty's, Arthur's and McClanahan's passings. Must be a hoot in heaven with them there.
I don't live in the U.S. but the four Golden Girls are like my family. I was so sad when Estelle passed and worst when Bea passed too and now Rue! How much can a woman who adores the girls take. I miss them so much even though the show is no longer on TV. All the best to the families.

This is so heartbreaking today, missing you 3 here, 3 in 3 years....you shaped my childhood, I watched you as a lil girl growing up w my (late) Grammies & my Besties..I do take comfort knowing you are together in the Lord's Arms, in no pain, Soaring High, laughing again....we all love & miss you..
Watching you everyday bring's laughter to my heart. You remind me of my late grandmother. You both always knew how to put a smile on my face and make my heart feel warm. I will miss you both but I will never forget.
i have always liked to watched the golden girls with my little girls father, he loved him some all of them. they will always be quens no mater where they are, whether if they are here by flesh r just in our memories. all four of those women will always be remember for not only who they were who they played. "THE GOLDEN GIRLS" there will never be a sophia, dorothy, blanche, and rose like the ones who played them. May god keep both of u and R. I. P both mom and daughter sophia and dorothy
The show and its characters of Golden Girls were so relaxing, especially when you had a bad day at work. Blanche, Rose, and Dorothy were great, but Sophie made the show. When she made an entrance into a scene, she took the show to the next level. It amazes me how she could be serious one minute and then absolutely hilarious the next. We all were fortunate to have had the opportunity to see her wisdom and comedy. Estelle Getty's passing is a great loss. She was a rainbow of joy to watch.
Estelle and her girls still start my every morning with laughter, as I watch them daily on TV. They bring laughter and tears to my heart. I don't have any family anymore and so I wish someday I can live with a group of ladies like the
Golden Girls. It is so priceless to have a group of ladies that care so much for each other, that surely would make up for not having a family anymore.
Golden Girls was filmed before my time but I grew up loving every minute of the re-runs yet my favorite memories of Estelle Getty aren't of her comedy work but her values and courage to stand up for what she believed in from gay rights to charity work instead. This was her true legacy that will be forever missed though her artwork will be appreciated for years to come by the laughter of millions...
I grew up watching theGolden Girls, I would never get tired of watching them. I can't say which is my favorite. In the show they bring out the best in each other.
I know you each have family up there but Im sure you are laughing together and eating a slice of cheesecake. You both are missed very much and may you rest in peace.
