I hope science resurrects her and all other good citizens and that she again with her fine leadership helps us so someday soon we could all embark on our eternal universal endeavors leaving at least for a while this sad planet and all its unfortunate memories far behind...
The outpouring of love for his young woman has been inspirational. As a parent, my heart goes out to Eve's parents. As a teacher, my heart goes out to Eve's classmates, teachers and professors. To bad the Duke coaches did not honor her, as they should have, by wearing a ribbon during the Duke vs UNC game.
I am a Carolina alum who has never met Eve, but from what I know of her, she truly embodied the "Carolina spirit." I know that we will all go on to strive to be the university, and the people, she envisioned. My sincerest condolences to her family and friends. This is just unfathomable.
News are always bad, but Eve was never about bad news, she was always searching for the good ones. She was a hard worker and a brought the fun at work, whether she'd meet new students or the older ones.
The one who hurt her can never raise evil, but the good will be whispered and raised up under the eyes of God, because once born, someone can never die, although some may go to Heaven and some may go to hell. Thank God for Eve's life and may she continue to bless others with her wonderful memory and spirit! Thanks Jesus for being with her too and with us!
how is it possible that such an inspiring person could be so heartlessly taken away. This world is without a doubt poorer without her. Do something nice for someone in her honor
Eve, I never knew who you were personally; however you were a part of my larger family of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. You were making such an impact not only on Chapel Hill, but the world at large. I, too, grieve your loss because it was a senseless tragic event and has taken from the world the promise of a bright future with leaders such as you who had so much to give. I have a dear friends whose children currently attend UNC or attended UNC and had the privilege to know you. They are both grieving the loss of such a fantastic person. In a time like this it is difficult to see that anything positive will come out of this, but I am sure that God has a plan for you and that your death will not be in vain. Take your place in the Golden Land and we promise to carry on your legacy in memories and deeds. To your family, I send my deepest condolences because I cannot imagine the terror they must be experiencing in this moment. May God be with them through this tragic time and throughout their ongoing memories of your life. May God Be With You!
I am very saddened to hear of Eve Marie Carson's death. I am originally from Chapel Hill and to hear of such a tragedy saddens me so very, very much. May God bless her and her family, friends, associates.
