About
Grave Injustice
George and I became friends in my youthful years, growing up in the countryside when it was "fashionable" to trip on weed, our friendship lasted through those heady days into our adulthood. I was honoured to be asked to be the godfather of his only daughter. While we were not up in each others face on a daily basis, there could be no doubting the bond of friendship we shared. His untimely demise at the hands of errant policemen will leave an indelible scar on my consciousness. God speed my friend, those who prematurely ended your dream will pay ,as I live and breathe I dedicate my efforts to doing whatever I can, within the confines of the law, to have your good name restored..
Let your friends know you cared.

Tragic Loss
Trini Man Jan 31, 2009
Acting with sadly misplaced authority
With their guns they turned his day into night
Now George is unjustly banished frommy sight
Their motto, to serve and protect
They served him bullets and disrespect
So many questions now play on my anguished mind
Answers to which i cannot seem to find
Now His village sings a solemn dirge
As it struggles against a most primal urge
To descend into that dark precipice
And Repay his killer with firearm justice
The fires that burned in George's community
Must serve to ignite a spark in the national psyche
Those of us left standing have a duty to fight
To restore in our land a sense of what is just and right
If his dying can, from injustice bring relief
There would be some sense to this season of grief
..with abiding love to my true friend
