I see your smiling face every day. I have many memories of "Little George"
He always offered to help if he could. There was very little that he couldn't do. I Think about him and miss not being able ti see that smile. He really loved the car races. I remember him coming out here to go to the races with his day and bringing his son with him. He was a good family man who loved his children.
I have a place in my heart for him that no one can ever fill.
Love You, GrandmaB
I miss you day &d night, I think about all the great times we had together &d going to all the fun events. you were the best dad alive, you were my bestfriend my everything. i can't believe it's been so long since you passed, even though i remember being with you like it was yesterday. Georgie and I miss you deeply,
George H. Ballard IV was a great man &d a great dad he loved his children very much &d he never let them down. he is truely loved and missed by his kids<3
I call him that because when compared to his father, my brother, he was a definitely a George. I did not get much of a chance to know George as close as a an uncle should be, but the day I spent time with him in the Hospital, I understood the love and respect his friends and family had for him. He was a very likeable person, son, husband and father. I realized that he had became a true man that cared deeply about his kids and respected his mother and father.
Our little George was and will always be, the good son who fought the good fight while still showing his children and family his love for them to the very end of his time on this earth.
The sweetest memory I have of George was when he made toast for everyone when he was a little boy. He ran through house announcing it loudly " TOAST, Di I made TOAST " George had toasted the whole loaf of bread for breakfast. I did not get the chance to really know George as he grew to be a man, I can tell he was well loved by community and family. I will always hold his memory close to my heart. God Bless You.
Its been 3 years now since i'v seen my brothers smiling face, heard his voice and enjoyed his fun and loving company.. I miss him sooo much every day. I miss the "Hey Sis" he would always say. I miss all his stories and his jokes.
I miss him sleeping on the couch. I miss him at all the kids b-days. I miss him when we go out. I miss him stopping over for hair cuts. I miss him picking on my kids.(They do too) I miss him not being there when i need him... I miss his smile. I have so many memories of George, I wouldn't know where to start!!
...following him around when I was little; I thought he was the coolest! once(and only once) he let me "drive" his 3-wheeler, with him on the back...I goosed the throttle, and threw us both off!
...playing poker down at the cabin (full story omitted to protect the innocent!) HA!
...seeing him work, down at the pit. no matter how bad he must have felt, he always laughed, and offered to do more.
Guys like him are a rare breed and he is truly missed....
My memory of George: Smiles ---whenever whatever George was always smiling, no matter what he was going through. Another great memory of George--George always loved & respected Marylou and it gives me great memories of the both of them because she loved him just as much .Miss & Love You Both Alot
