A Beloved Grandmother
On whom we all could depend,
The warmest of all people,
With a love that knew no end.
 
We little knew that evening,
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
 
It broke our hearts to lose you nan,
You did not go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

God saw that you were dying & a cure was not to be,
He put his arms around you & whispered "Come With Me",
Your golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands laid to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.
 
Your purpose fulfilled, your legacy left
A beautiful Daughter, a wonderful Mum,
An amazing Wife, a great Sister & a fantastic Nan you were
Now an angel you have now become.
 
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide
And though we cannot see you,
You are always by our side.
 
Our family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again.

Rest in piece my Angel,
You will always have a very special place
in the memories that i hold closest to my heart.
