Grace met Philip Goodall aged 16, they married at St Marys Church on March 7th 1941. There was an air raid on at the time. On the 22nd December 1942 Grace gave birth to her daughter Ann, on the 3rd January 1944 Margaret was born and finally on February 8th 1951 John was born.

Grace was a grandmother to 6 granddaughters, Jane, Debra, Tina, Helen and Louise, sadly Nichola passed away at birth. Christopher was her only grandson, who Philip never saw as he died in February 1986.

Jane made Grace a Great Grandmother in March 1982, Tony, she went on to have Jade and Louis. Tina had two daughters Jodie and India mae,  as did Helen who had Hayley and Chloe. Louise had George and Christopher had James.

Grace was proud to meet her three Great Great grandchildren, Archie, Scarlet and Nancy.

Grace was a real lady. Very elegant and graceful, she had many quailities and lived up to her name.

Jodie's memory (Great Grandaughter)

Jodie Holmes Mar 18, 2009

Nan it's sad you have gone and we will miss you loads but if there's nothing that we can gain from this we know you will just by being with Gran-dad again where you've wanted to be for years. Me, Auntie Jane and Jade came to see you last Saturday in the chapel and i don't think you would have been to impressed with that pink lip gloss they put on you but you looked as beautiful as ever. Love you forever Nan. Jodie x x x
