dear grandfather, i know you can't read this letter but i wanted you to know how sorry i am for not being there when you passed away on 2-14-03, i couldn't bring my self to see you hooked up to that machine.i know you are in heaven with jesus and you are not sick anymore,i just wished i could've told you good-bye the last time and that i loved you for the last time, but i know jesus wanted you home with him.jesus say you getting tired and your body woren out so he came and took you home to be with him .i know you are watching over me and you are my guarding angel and that one day we will be together again and we won't be apart anymore,i love and miss you very much i just never thought you would leave you were the strong one and you were always there,and now it is hard for me to accept yourpassing. your spirit lives in my heart and your memory i keep alive everyday.it is not the same anymore since your passing and i hope you can forgive me for not being there when you passed away but i was thinking of you.i am glad to have you as my grandfather and you will always be my grandfather,i want you to know how sorry i am for not beng there and that i love and miss you very much ,and i think of you everyday.in memory of my grandfather-MR.HARLESS H. IT HAS BEEN 6 YEARS SINCE MY GRANDFATHER PASSED AWAY,AND HIS BIRTHDAY WAS TODAY,THESE TWO DAYS ARE VERY HARD FOR ME,I CAN'T COPE AND DEAL WITH HIS PASSING IT ISN'T THE SAME SINCE HE IS NOT HERE ANYMORE.HIS FAVORITE SONG WAS THE OLD RUGGED CROSS, HE LIKED AMAZING GRACE, IN THE GARDEN ETC. THE LAST MEMORY I HAVE OF MY GRANDFATHER IS AT CHRISTMAS WHEN HE WAS HAPPY TO SEE EVERYONE EVEN THOUGH HE WAS BED FAST,HE ENJOYED WATCHING HIS GREAT GRANDCHILDERN OPENING THEIR GIFTS.I WOULD'VE NEVER THOUGHT THAT WOULD BE HIS LAST HOLIDAY WITH US,THAT MEMORY WILL ALWAYS BE WITH ME .I COULD NEVER FORGET THAT LAST CHRISTMAS WE GOT TO SHARE WITH HIM BEFORE HE PASSED AWAY.
