The FBI said a father and his three young children have been found dead.
The four were the subjects of an amber alert issued out of Columbus, Georgia nearly three weeks ago.
FBI spokesman Stephen Emmett declined to say how 28-year-old Eddie Harrington, 3-year-old Cedric and 1-year-old twins Aliah and Agena died. He also refused to provide any details about how they were found Wednesday, except to say it was in a wooded, rural area of Columbus, which is about 90 miles southwest of Atlanta.
Authorities believed Harrington may have been headed to Indianapolis because he contacted his parents who live in Indianapolis.
