It will soon be 3 years since you earned your wings,
but it still feels like yesterday and it is still hard to believe that you are not with us anymore. We are still trying to understand why your life was taken at such a young age and what we could have done to change the outcome.
But you are living on in our hearts forever
and will be until the day we die.
I look for you in the stars
and know that you are somewhere out there,
smiling down on us.
We love & miss you so much.
If our tears could build a stairway,
We'd climb right to heaven & bring you back again.
Until the day we meet again,
in our hearts is where we'll continue to keep you sweet cousin.
(For some reason I've had my cousin Heath on my mind this whole week & I'm not sure why :'(( )

Christmas Time

Missing you always, but the Holidays are the worst! What i would give for me and you to be sneaking around Paw Bills barn and our momma's closets trying to see if we could find our presents. I will never forget finding our scooters and riding them all over Brumfield Hill! Now its Cooper and Carsons turn and they are well on their way to making the memories we had. Love you Cousin Heath! MIss you sooo much!!

Setting here at work watching MotoCross on TV. Man what some great memories. I started to take the graphics off the enclosed trailer but couldn't bring myself to do it, too many memories and good times. We did push the track down and leveled the field, Funny though I can still set on the breezway and see you and Tyler stiring up the dust. OK buddy gotta go see you later.

i miss you Heath...i know you will always be with us. it's been two years since we said good-bye, but i know we will see each other again one day. you are going to take me hunting like you always said you would! ha yeah right....me and hunting...you always knew better. i would trade every memory i have to go back and do it. i miss you buddy. love you.

Well man today makes 2 years...I still have bad days and I always will but I have some good days to like when I see a turkey are goats I take that as a sign from you that your telling me thats your ok and you in your loving way to make me smile..I miss you every day and think of you everyday..I love you Hoot with all my heart!!!

Hey bro.. miss you soooo much. This time of the year has been and always will be so hard for me! I find myself staring at your pictures and thinking about how much i miss you! Its been almost 2 years since you were taken from us but seems like yesterday! Me moma daddy and carson are getting by but its just not the same without you! Its almost your 22nd birthday and what a better way to spend it than with JESUS! Little carson talks about you ALL the time. He is following in his UNCLE HOOTS footsteps! He loves the drums and is taking drum lessons. He is also starting tball this year. You would be so proud. I will always make sure he knows how lucky he is to have had an UNCLE HOOT! when i stumbled across this page i just sat here, it is still so hard to accept. baby i love and miss you, Almost 2 years now, man it's tough. I still remember you, heather, natalie, and lauren putting on a show at christmas , at mawmaw, and paw jim's you were michael jackson. LOL!! such sweet memories. not a day goes by that aunt sandy doesn't think of you, there are songs that come on the radio, and i think of you, i see a turkey , and i think of you . Its Christmas Eve and we are all trying to get in the Spirit...As hard as we try its just not quite the same...We carry on with all our traditions, but you can tell everyone has you in their heart and on their mind.... Thinking of you on the Holidays Buddy, Seems like yesterday we were all setting in mammawas living room like a bunch of kids wanting our present. Even though you are not setting there with us now you are still in our hearts. Merry Christmas Hoot.

Justin talks about Heath often. He misses him so much. He has pictures of their senior year at the prom etc. I remember when I worked at WMP--Heath and Justin would come over to see us. Those are great memories. Heath is greatly missed.
