Shaka as portrayed by Henry Celes was fantastic movie and mini series.
Henry"s portrayal as Shaka must have been one of the best selections of any actor to play the part of Shaka the Zulu.
Henry's acting was very credible and very believable.. Henry was a fantastic actor. The guys whoi put the movie and mini series together did a fantastic job.
This movie must rank as one of the all time greats of movies.
To all who made this movie happen and especially to Henry Celes you have made one of the greatest movies...ever...!!!
You can all rest on your laurels because you all deserve the accolades that are bestowed on you...
May Henry Celes rest in peace...!~~~~

I first watched SHAKA ZULU in he late 80s when i was still a little boy. I so much love the movie.... Even now as am older i still watch the movie, i even downloaded the song used in the movie "WE ARE GROWING".

it is very sad that my hero is gone... may his gentle soul rest in peace Amen.

My heart is broken in one respect at the loss of Henry Cele's life, yet relieved that he greets Chaka Zulu in paradise. He channeled the Spirit of my ancestor in such a way that he has been an inspiration to me my whole life.

A true majestic actor.

I downloaded the Shaka Zulu movies on Youtube and I so wish that he was still alive. If he was I would go and ask him how it felt doing the movie that potrays the life of the conquerer of nations. When watching the movies it was like he was the real shaka zulu. His legacy will forever live in our hearts

I remember sitting with my family watching shaka every Saturday with my family till this day I know every word in the move. It was the first time I ever seen a powerful black man .that stuck with me through my life I'm proud to be a Black women .thanks for showing children that black is beautiful . I love you and rest in peace

I just got threw watching Shaka Zulu with my girls it was there first time they really enjoyed it coming up that was one of my favorite movies and I m glad I got to share that with my girls. Thank you

Rest in peace Mr. Cele. When I first saw Shaka Zulu as a young girl I thought to myself who is this beautiful man? I have been a fan ever since. Many people leave this world without contribution. Mr. Cele has contributed much and taught us something. Be Blessed.
