I did not know Herb well at all, but I do know Dian from working with her at Northstar and we have become very good friends. I do have a very vivid memory of Herb coming to the ticket counter and always waving and saying good morning with such a friendly smile on his face. I do know that Dian loved him dearly and always looked forward to Herb coming down from Washington for his visits. Dian was so excited about Herb retiring and both of them traveling. This meant a lot to her. Unfortunately, God took Herb away sooner than we all expected, and he is a great loss to Dian and his family and many friends. From the bottom of my heart, Dian, I am truly sorry for your loss and my heart breaks for your loss. I would do anything to take away the pain and sadness you have in your heart and life.
I hope God gives you comfort, peace and love during these very trying times.
Your Friend Always,
Ellen
