A. He had some little bands in which he was the guitarist. Just finished his hairdressing studies with very good scores that he was called by yoshiki to be a membner of X.

A. He was in Yokosuka Saver Tiger and after that he was a beaution. he worked in his own Boutique called LEMONed . but oneday he got a call from Yoshiki of X-Japan, Yoshiki had heard Yokosuka Saver Tiger's demo tape and X needed a new lead guitarist so he asked him if he would be interested. He said whatever, and the rest is history≈ <3

Q. What did Hideto Matsumoto want to be when he/she grew up?
A. He wanted to become a rock star, since he was inspired by Kiss when visiting USA, and of course he succeeded! although he had the plans with Saver Tiger, but it didn't work out because the singer of Saver quit, so hide graduated as a beautician (his grandma was one, and as hide said she inspired his looks), then he got a call from Yoshiki to join X, then his dream came true! he was the most popular Jrocker in Japan and overseas :)

A. well, this is the part of his life that he hated....hide was an outcast during school years, because he was kinda overweight, so his classmates would often tease him because of that. But then he got a Gibson, and he loved it so much we would bring it to school and everywhere else his him, so he got a nickname "Gibson" :)
piece of my opinion - I think that when he started Saver Tiger he became popular in school and the town, so this was the critical break in hide's life :)
